Annual Awards Banquet

The Star City Area Chamber of Commerce hosts an annual Awards Banquet.  The Banquet features special presentations for the Business of the Year, Educator of the Year, Man of the Year, Woman of the Year, and STAR Citizen of the Year - recognizing one individual who has exhibited a lifetime of dedication to our community. This is also our largest fundraiser of the year, with proceeds from ticket sales and a live and silent auction funding our projects for the next calendar year.

Woman of the Year: Marian Baggett 
Educator of the Year: Emily Snyder (Posthumously)
STAR Citizen of the Year: Barry Boren
